Baptism is the sacrament of faith. But faith needs the community of believers. It is only within the faith of the Church that each of the faithful can believe. (CCC 1253).
At Saint John the Apostle, we celebrate Baptism as a communal celebration, in English on the third Saturday of the month, and in Spanish on the second Saturday of the month (except during Lent).
For Infants (children 6 years of age or younger)
Parents and Godparents attend preparation classes which are offered in English on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and in Spanish on the second Thursday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Child care is provided. There is a $10.00 fee for materials for the class. For additional information please complete the online form below or call Tasha Allen the Church Office at (817) 284-4811, ext: 213 to get started!
