Jesus took on our humanity; his whole life gives us an example to follow.  He even allowed himself to be baptized in order to point us toward the first step on our way to Heaven: Baptism.  On January 10, 2021, we reflect on Jesus' baptism with the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord.

During January, we invite parishioners to participate in two activities related to their own baptism:

1. Make Thank You Cards to Your Godparents
   • If your godparents are living, send a card to them and let them know how you appreciate them being a good role model and their continued prayers that you be a faithful Christian.
   • If your godparents are deceased, say a prayer for the peaceful repose of their soul.
2. Photo Album of Baptism Pictures/Momentos
   • Find a picture from your baptism or take a picture of something that commemorates your baptism (e.g., baptism gown, candle, bible)
   • Send the picture to us by text to 214.724.3877 or email to dchesshir@sjtanrh.com. Include the first name of the person who was baptized.
   • Complete and submit the form below that gives us your permission to post the picture in the photo album.
   • When we have the submitted release form and picture, we will post the picture in the photo album on this page.

Jesús asumió nuestra humanidad; toda su vida nos da un ejemplo a seguir.  Incluso permitió bautizarse para señalarnos el primer paso en nuestro camino hacia el Cielo: Bautismo.  El 10 de enero de 2021, reflexionamos sobre el bautismo de Jesús con la fiesta del Bautismo del Señor..

1. Hacer tarjetas de agradecimiento a sus padrinos
   • Si sus padrinos están vivios, envíenles y hágalnes saber cómo aprecian que sean un buen modelo a seguir y sus oraciones para segui siendo cristianos fieles.
   • Si sus padrinos han fallecido, oren por el reposo pacífico de su alma.
2. Álbum de fotos de bautismo /Momentos

• Encuentre una foto de su bautismo o tome una foto de algo que conmemore su bautismo (por ejemplo, vestido de bautismo, vela, biblia)
• Envíanos la foto por texto al 214.724.3877 o envía un correo electrónico a dchesshir@sjtanrh.com.
• Complete y envíe el siguiente formulario que nos autoriza a publicar la imagen en el álbum de fotos.
• Cuando tengamos la autorización firmada junto con la imagen, publicaremos la imagen en el álbum de fotos en esta página.
